What to expect on a guided forest therapy walk

  • There is no strenous hiking.
  • We will not be identifying flora and fauna.
  • We will follow an INFTA approved sequence of activities.  Each building on the next to enable a very intentional process of slowing down.
  • These include meditation, gentle movement, nature based sensory and creative activities and closing with a Japanese inspired tea ceremony.

Who are the walks suitable for?
  • We cover approx. 1.5km over 3hrs,  the walk does includes some mixed surfaces as well as off-path grassy areas. 
  • We do recommend age 13 and above for a 3hr session.
  • A tailored experience is very welcome if you have younger children or specific mobility/access needs ,  please don’t hesitate to contact me to discuss. 
Why do I need a guide?
  • All the hard work is done  for you, no need to worry about following a map or finding the best places you can simply relax and let go.
  • Your guide will offer specific tools and techniques to support your process of slowing down, staying present in the moment and reconnecting with the beauty of our natural environment. 
  • Rest assured knowing the sequence of activities is well supported by research with proven health benefits for your physical and mental wellbeing
